The Potash White Potash Pink graded Feldspar is an important materials for medium and high temperature ceramic glazes. The Potash White Potash Pink graded Feldspar supplies alumina, potash, silica and some magnesia and calcia to the glaze. The Potash White Potash Pink graded Feldspar is not pure and white like soda spars. The Sodium used in Cearmics grade Feldspar is a clean white mineral that sources alumina, sodium and silica with some calcium and potassium. Sodium used in Cearmics grade Feldspar is made from Albite mineral. The Sodium used in Cearmics grade Feldspar starts melting around 800C. The Soda and Potash Feldspar are interchangeable in glaze recipes. The Sodium used in Cearmics grade Feldspar has higher coefficient of expansion, melts earlier and has a shorter range before beginning to volatilize.
